Why
CeaseFire.

A fire-protection partner that treats compliance like a service, not a checkbox. Local techs, traceable documentation, and a phone that someone actually picks up.

Owner-led

Mark Saba runs every job. No dispatched subs, no rotating crews. You meet the owner on day one and on every visit after that.

Paper-trail ready

Tags, photos, certificates and reports — every visit. Hand them to your insurance carrier or fire marshal without a fight.

Local & fast

Based in Covington — same-week service across Southeast Louisiana, from the Northshore to Orleans, Jefferson and the River Parishes. After-hours and weekends on call.

One contractor

Extinguishers, hoods, suppression, alarms — one number to call instead of three. Less paperwork, fewer service trucks at your back door.

Common
questions.

Quick answers to what restaurant owners and property managers ask us most. Have a question we haven't covered? Call us — we're happy to talk it through.

How often do extinguishers need to be inspected?
NFPA 10 requires a monthly visual check (you or your staff) and a full annual inspection by a certified technician. Hydrostatic testing is required every 5 or 12 years depending on the extinguisher type. We tag every unit and track the schedule so nothing slips.
How often does my kitchen hood need cleaning?
NFPA 96 sets frequency by cooking volume: quarterly for solid-fuel and high-volume operations, semi-annually for moderate, annually for light cooking. We'll inspect your setup and recommend the right cadence — then put it on a calendar so you don't have to think about it.
What happens when a suppression system discharges?
We come out the same day, decontaminate the system, replace the cylinder and fusible links, recharge, and re-certify — then file the paperwork your insurance carrier and fire marshal will ask for. Most kitchens are back in service within 24 hours.
Do you handle inspections for insurance carriers?
Yes. We provide certified inspection reports, photos and tags formatted for the major carriers — the same documentation packet whether you're with State Farm, Travelers, Liberty Mutual or a local broker. If your carrier needs something specific, tell us up front and we'll match the format.
What's your service area?
All of Southeast Louisiana — St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Washington, Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, St. Charles and St. John the Baptist parishes. Based in Covington, we can usually be on site anywhere in the region the same day or next business day.
Do you offer after-hours emergency service?
24/7. If your system discharged, you failed a marshal inspection, or you're closed until this gets fixed — call (985) 789-9342 any time. Live answer, not an answering service.
